A promenade connects the beaches Maspalomas and Meloneras This beach is located on a developing area, the urbanization Costa Meloneras, and, therefore, it will have more and more services in the near future. By the moment, the newest hotels on Gran Canaria and an important shopping centre are located by this beach.
HOW TO REACH THE BEACH:
From the motorway GC-1, take the exit by the diversion indicating Pasito Blanco. Drive along the road GC 500 and head for Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. At the roundabout indicating the urbanization of Meloneras, turn right and go on to the following roundabout. |

Turn right again and drive straight ahead along the street Mar Blanco. There is a public parking at the end of the street. You can park there and go on foot to the promenade by the beach. The beach Las Mujeres is on the left. There is no bus service to reach the beach, but it gets the lighthouse Faro de Maspalomas, where you can continue walking along the promenade.
