There is a small jetty, fisher guild and fish market. This beach is usually visited by divers and rod fishers It is easy to find restaurants specialized in sea products nearby. Very frequented by locals.
From the motorway GC 1, take the exit to Juan Grande. Once you have arrived in this village, there is one roundabout. Turn left toward the coast. This road will take you to Castillo del Romeral. On the second cross, turn right. This way will take you to a small avenue with a promenade which stretches on its left side. Once you reach La Caleta, turn right. The beach is just behind the dike you will see. Public transport available.
