Shops: Shops usually open at 9 AM or 10 AM and close to have lunch at about 1.30 PM or 2 PM. They are open back at 4 PM or 5 PM and close at 8 PM, 8.30 PM or even 9 PM. Shopping centres are not closed during the afternoon. Just some shops and all the main shopping areas are open on Saturady evening. All shops are closed on Sunday and holidays, except in some special dates when shops are authorized to open.
Bank and Savings Banks: Banks are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 2 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM. Saturdays closed in summer time. Savings banks are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 2 PM. The timetable in summer is from 8 AM to 1.30 PM. Saturdays closed. There are automatic cash dispensers available 24 hours a day with international service around the tourist area. Almost all hotels, restaurants and shops accept the main credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, 4B, American Express, etc.
Restaurants: In the Canary Islands, as well as in Spain, it is usual to eat later than in other European countries. Breakfast is taken between 9 AM and 10 AM. Lunch is usually taken between 2 PM and 3 PM and dinner, between 8 PM and 9 PM. However, almost all hotels and restaurants adjust their timetable to work and our guests.
Public Institutions: Public Administration offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM.
Mail Service: The post office is open from 8.30 AM. to 8.30 PM and Saturdays from 9.30 AM to 1 PM. From the 15th of July to the 15th of September, the timetable is Monday to Friday from 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM and Saturdays from 9.30 AM to 1 PM.

The timetable of bars without music is 6 PM to 2 AM. Pubs and bars and with music are open from 6 PM to 3.30 AM and discos, from 6 PM to 5 AM.
