The citizens of the member states of the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein only need their valid national identity document or passport. In the case they are under 18 years of age, they will need their national identity document, as well as an authorization by their parents.
The citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Austraila, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Costa Rica, Croatia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Estonia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Czech Republic, Republic of Korea, Romania, San Marino, The Holy See, Singapur, Uruguay and Venezuela, along with the Special Administrative Regions of the People's Republic of China such as Macau and Hong Kong will need a valid passport to enter Spain and will be able to stain in Spain over a maximum period of 90 days.
If you come from any other country, apart from your official passport, you must apply for a visa in the Spanish Consulate in your residence. In this case, the Spanish authorities will be able to require a document proving your stay in the island, confirming the booking of your travel, your return ticket, tourist circuit or the invitation by any person to come to the island. Furthermore, you may be required to prove that you have sufficient economic resources to support yourself during your stay in Spain.
It is advisable to contact your Consulate or Embassy in Spain in order to verify that the abovementioned conditions are still in force before your travel.
